ShuShu is a Brisbane based queen that talks us through her journey before drag, the transition into her drag career as well as drag show etiquette that the Queens of the community expect from us. The world of drag is a true art form of self expression and our guest ShuShu sheds some insight into what it really takes to be a fabulous drag queen. Now I bet you are wondering who the other Queen might be? Well let Me introduce to you the Queen Margaret-Rita herself!
Yes, you guessed it.. That is in fact one of the co-founders and the host of The Shake Up Podcast, Jarrad Bell! Throughout the month we have dedicated each podcast episode to outline the importance and awareness of the LGBTQ+ history with each guest being a part of the community. To have full understanding and appreciation for the art form, Jarrad had confidently put his hand up and allowed ShuShu to fully outfit him in drag! From makeup, wigs, costume, jewellery and even nails; This experience surely was one for the books!
